Winter Solstice : Wheel of Asta Ritual

As the winter solstice approaches, the celestial stars align in a beautiful dance marking the transition from autumn to winter. This special time has been celebrated since ancient times, for it heralds the "birth of the sun." Winter traditions are steeped in the comforts of mulled cider, winter delicacies, and the warm glow of lanterns. We set intentions for the season ahead and weave spells of hope and joy for the coming days as the veil between worlds thins. The winter solstice is a season of enchantment, where nature's cycles of birth, renewal, and hope are on full display. It marks the shortest day of the year, and we take time to reflect on the past year's journey, cherishing memories and weaving new resolutions for the future. As the light gradually returns, we are reminded that even in life's darkest moments, a spark of hope still glimmers, beckoning us to ignite the fire of possibility.

Meditating

• As we herald the return of the sun's rays , we will welcome its birth with a mystical candle gazing meditation. Katie will  guide you through an enchanted visualization, where you'll traverse the realms of gratitude,  and allow the light of the flames to illuminate your soul and awaken your spirit.

Feasting

• The vegetarian feast will be centred around food & drink that evokes feelings of comfort and coziness, whilst we celebrate the earth's bounty and express gratitude that even through the darkest days of winter, there is still warmth, light, and nourishment to be found.  

Fire Ritual

• Through a powerful fire ritual, we shall reflect, release and set intentions for the new season of growth and abundance.

Craft

• Together, we shall create a rustic tea light lantern using mason jars as our canvas and the essence of nature as our inspiration.
